Being Rock: How To Listen So People Feel Heard - Mandy Preece

Being Rock is a simple concept of being able to support anyone whether they are really struggling or just having a bad day.
Mandy aims to inspire us to re-engage with our listening and be a Rock so our children, partners, family and friends feel heard.

The workshop will look at:

The importance of presence and silence
Observing of body language and how people talk when they are struggling
Skills to use so someone feels heard, seen and witnessed
How to use empathy effectively
How to avoid the Rock gremlins (the things that get in the way of our listening)

Mandy aims to get us all ‘Rocking’ with this thought-provoking, inspiring and humorous look at what it really means to listen.
